Aluminum alloy spare parts have low density, but high strength, close to or exceeding high-quality steel, good plasticity, and can be processed into various profiles. They have excellent conductivity, thermal conductivity, and corrosion resistance, and are widely used in industry, with usage only second to steel. Some aluminum alloy spare parts can be heat treated to achieve good mechanical, physical, and corrosion resistance properties. The hard aluminum alloy AI-Cu-Mg system generally contains a small amount of Mn and can be strengthened through heat treatment. Its characteristic is high hardness but poor plasticity. Superhard aluminum belongs to the Al-Cu-Mg-Zn system and can be strengthened by heat treatment. It is the strongest aluminum alloy at room temperature, but has poor corrosion resistance and rapid high-temperature softening. Wrought aluminum alloys are mainly Al Zn Mg Si series alloys. Although there are many types of elements added, the content is small, and therefore they have excellent thermoplastic properties and are suitable for forging. Therefore, they are also known as forged aluminum alloys.
